The Laufen Max-Beam Stool/Side Table has been created by Laufen Design for the brand Kartell. For this one, Laugen Design commissioned Italian designers Ludovica & Roberto Paolomba, who combined their vision and talent to bring it to life. The two create designs that are organic, distant from trends and bold, which means people will be using and enjoying them for a long time to come. Their approach and abilities are well illustrated in the Laufen Max-Beam Stool/Side Table. The batch-dyed polymethylmethacrylate 'PMMA' from which it is made gives it a look and feel of visual lightness and its compact dimensions make it ideal for different users. It has simple orthogonal surfaces that are enhanced by the transparent material of the stool. It is designed to be used in the bathroom, where it can hold towels, toiletries or decorative items like potted plants or flowers in a vase. However, it can also be used in bedrooms and living rooms.

The Laufen Max-Beam Stool/Side Table has a depth of 33cm, a width of 47cm and a height of 27cm. It is lightweight, practical and versatile. It is available in clear or coloured PMMA in colours that range from neutral to bold and bright.
