The elegant Barstool SB 38 was designed by Egon Eiermann for furniture brand Wilde + Spieth.
Eiermann is remembered as one of the most important and influential German architects of the post-war period. Some of his best-loved architecture includes the German Pavillion for the Brussels World Exposition and the reconstruction of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin. His extensive portfolio also includes the German Embassy in Washington and the Hochaus in Bohn. In terms of his furniture works, his most acclaimed designs include the Basket Chair and Folding Chair, as well as Ceiling Spotlights designed for the Brussels World Exhibition in 1958.
The stylish Barstool SB 38 offers the perfect blend of style and functionality with a durable chrome-plated tubular steel frame and a contemporary design that works well with any style of décor. The seat features a circular seating surface supported by four slimline steel legs connected midway down by a circular support. The chair has foot guards to prevent slippage and provide a comfortable seating experience even for extended periods. The seat measures 78cm high and has a 35cm diameter seat, weighing just 5kg for excellent portability.
