Amphora Vase

The Amphora Vase has been created by ferm LIVING for the brand ferm LIVING. Its larger-than-standard dimensions and its design give it an overall look that is playful and whimsical. It is a piece that harks back to ancient Greece when this vase was commonly used.

The Amphora Vase is made of rattan that has been finished with a dark stain. Like the prize that it is, it mimics the shape of a trophy with a large round opening and a body that tapers towards a small round base. The body uses a weave pattern of form strips that go from top to bottom. The base also has a circular pattern but they are in the form of coils. On either side, the vase has large ears that are attached at the top and close to the bottom. They are oversized which is what gives the vase its playful look.

The Amphora Vase is available in two sizes. The smaller one has a width of 41cm, a height of 30cm and a depth of 21.5cm. The larger one has a width of 53cm, a height of 41cm and a depth of 31.5cm. Although this item is a vase, it is important to know that it is not made to hold water. Rather, it is a sculptural, decorative piece.
